Client Engagement Manager

As an Engagement Manager, you will use your experience with implementing corporate learning/training solutions to strategically manage external client engagements. You’re energized, detail-oriented, self-motivated and solutions-focused. 


  • Experience working at a learning/training company or agency-like company in a similar capacity is preferred. Live or virtual event experience is a plus. 
  • 5+ years related experience in account/client management and project management.

Company is remote, so must be comfortable in a home office environment with the option to work 1-2 days/week in a coworking space.


Must have excellent, proven skills in:

  • Interpersonal relationships/business acumen (particularly with senior level clients) 
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to zoom out and think big-picture
  • Project management of numerous multifaceted projects simultaneously
  • Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, PPT and similar technologies 
  • Video conferencing technology – Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams and Google Meets
  • Experience in InDesign, Active Campaign or similar email platforms, and project management/team communication tools like Asana, Slack a plus


  • Manage client relationship and all client/participant communication including: 
    • Leading calls with external clients including C-suite members.
    • Coordinating engagement logistics with clients for virtual workshops and/or live experiences.
    • Conducting immersion interviews with employees to gain insight into clients’ business.
    • Developing and executing all program participant communications.
    • Training clients to lead Fast Forward in Action workshops.
  • Manage direct and indirect project resources and timelines for multiple engagements simultaneously.
  • Contribute to and approve proposals/SOWs.
  • Collaborate with the facilitation team to create and implement various engagement deliverables to accommodate the client’s specific needs.
  • Analyze and present program feedback with an eye toward measuring the client’s return on investment and growing the client portfolio.
  • Partner cross-functionally with key partners to evaluate impact and continuously improve content experiences.
  • Support Head of Client Development with forecasting, CRM management, and strategic client growth opportunities.
  • Work with the Finance team to direct and reconcile billing.
  • As needed, produce virtual Fast Forward sessions on Zoom and other VC platforms.
  • (When relevant) attend live sessions to immerse in experience and support facilitators.
