Dee is an executive coach for The Fast Forward Group. She has a master’s degree in Instructional Design which she uses to help people design solutions and create roadmaps toward their version of success. One of Dee’s gifts is the ability to see the best qualities in each client she meets. Sharing these insights with clients tends to build confidence and subsequently improve productivity. Her natural ability to connect with people makes each engagement fun and inspiring while she guides them toward maximizing their potential.
Whether on the fast track or struck, Dee meets individuals where they are and takes them where they want to go. She is a coach for the Executive MBA program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, where she leads students who are on the verge of an acceleration in their career trajectory. Conversely, Dee has worked with people during corporate layoffs and helped guide them into the next chapter of their careers. She is known to be motivating through challenges and embrace humor in joyful moments.
Dee has coached leaders at Google, Amazon, Abbvie, IBM, Salesforce, and more. While her current client base includes executives and emerging leaders, she has worked with all levels of management. Her experience spans across industries, including tech, consulting, sustainable energy, healthcare/med tech, private equity, and consumer goods. Regardless of the level or the industry, professionals agree that Dee’s coaching has improved their self-awareness and provided well-designed plans for their next steps.
At the beginning of her career, Dee was designing training programs for leaders at Arthur Andersen Consulting, AT&T, and PepsiCo. She transitioned into career coaching 15 years ago by completing an internship in Life Planning and gaining multiple certifications such as Conversational Intelligence C-IQ®, Identity Map©, Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator®, and Strong Interest Inventory®. In addition to reading every coaching book she can find, Dee loves taking courses to learn about the latest trends in coaching. Her current learning endeavor is a certificate in the Neuroscience of Transformational Coaching.
To give back to the community, Dee has presented life planning and motivational workshops to the women of Deborah’s Place, which provides services and apartments for formerly homeless women.
With her family, Dee has lived in multiple locations across the US, but coincidentally only in places that begin with the letter “C”: Chicago, Connecticut, Colorado Springs, Chicago (again), and now California. Each “C” has been a wonderful adventure!
