Formerly a C-Suite executive and now leadership coach, Karen utilizes her past experience
in management, leadership and corporate branding to help her clients be more self-aware,
enhance leadership presence and build relationships.
With 25 years experience in marketing communications specializing in public relations, advertising, and media strategy – and with regional roles in both Europe and Asia Pacific – she can truly claim to be a global executive having overseen nearly 50 countries. She has lived in Sydney, London, New York, Hong Kong and is now based in Shanghai.
In 2015, Karen co-founded {embrace} worldwide — developing a proprietary leadership
model based on global leadership ideologies and scientifically proven principles of human
behaviour, positive psychology and neuroscience.
Karen is a mentor for Chinaccelerator and MOX, mentorship-driven programs assisting internet start-ups to cross borders – from the world into China. She is the lead coach for Next Chapter Raise, Asia’s first funding ecosystem designed to inspire, educate and connect female founders with savvy investors and strategic advisors.
