Charisse Williams

Coach & Facilitator

Charisse is a Facilitator with The Fast Forward Group. She has taught and facilitated retreats and workshops for adults and teens in settings as diverse as corporate board rooms, juvenile detention centers, alcohol and drug rehab facilities, and college and university campuses.

As a leadership & well-being coach, Charisse helps leaders and teams harness their strengths, achieve their goals, and thrive. She specializes in supporting clients through leadership transitions, planning the first 90 days, stress management, and finding work/life alignment.

A lawyer by training, Charisse worked in the nonprofit sector for 25 years at organizations focused on human rights, education equity, and criminal/juvenile justice reform. In her roles as Executive Director, President, and Managing Director she consistently met ambitious goals including launching program sites in new cities, raising millions of dollars, and recruiting and managing dozens of board members and volunteers.

In 2015, her personal health and wellness journey led her to become a certified yoga teacher. That began a new chapter in her quest to become a more mindful leader on and off the yoga mat. Everything she does personally and professionally is aligned with her values, gifts, and calling.

In 2021, Charisse’s life, leadership, and work experiences converged at the intersections of race, social justice, and well-being, inspiring her to publish her first book, The Joy of Thriving While Black at New Degree Press.

Charisse earned her Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University School of Law and Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University. She received her Coaching Certification through JRNI Life Coaching.
